A traditional pivot template, similar to the original Bing noserider fin they were using in 1965, by Bing Copeland and Donald Takayama.
The fin has been modernised with a more forward foil compared to the original, which gives this fin speed and a lot less drag. The hatchet has a large base, and a lot of body to it. This helps lock your tail in when your board is placed in critical nose rides.
Please Note
These fins were crafted with care but didn’t quite pass our final quality inspection. That said, they’re still fully functional and surf-ready! Most have minor cosmetic imperfections—such as small color inconsistencies, light surface scratches, tiny air bubble pin pricks, or flex that’s slightly off from our usual spec. The pricing reflects these visual flaws, making them a great option if you’re after performance without the premium price tag.
