The Classic Hatchet Fin is a traditional pivot template, similar to the original Bing noserider fin they were using in 1965, by Bing Copeland and Donald Takayama for Bing Surfboard's star team rider at the time. This fin has been modernised with a more forward foil compared to the original, which gives this fin speed and a lot less drag. The hatchet has a large base, and a lot of body to it. This helps lock your tail in when your board is placed in critical nose rides.
